ReUse Proposal

ReUse Proposal
The aim of ReUse Proposal is to create site-specific installations to help revitalize depressed spaces and areas in transition in the International District, Pioneer Square and the West Edge neighborhood. Temporary art installations are beneficial for a number of reasons during times of transition and economic hardship. They encourage creativity and a more inventive use of space. My intention is to promote a healthier and more vibrant environment for both the area and the pedestrian. I want to work to help strengthen and celebrate our relationship with the community that lives, works and visits the areas. This project is funded by 4Culture.

You can't get there from here
Artopia is a fabulous event in Georgetown (south Seattle) on Saturday, June 28th from 10am-11:30pm. I will create an architectural installation inside the Rainer Building utilizing the existing structure of the room, simple building materials and reflective sheeting. His choice of materials and imposing architectural forms look towards the future of the amalgamation and appropriation of the space inside the Rainer building.
